Create a custom Password word game for a party, classroom or team meeting. Give a one-word clue, let your team guess the secret word, and rotate roles. Add words your group knows and host the game in a browser.
Make a game from your own words
Sign in, name your game, choose Classic Password or Host Mode, then add your secret words. Start with 10 familiar words for a short party round, or use vocabulary your class or team already knows.
In Classic Password, clue-givers see the secret word and invent one-word clues while teams alternate attempts. In Host Mode, you prepare the clues; players see each clue and race to buzz in while the answer stays hidden.
A short round: Flame → Candle
The secret word is Candle. The clue-giver says “Flame” and their teammate guesses “Candle.” If the guess misses in Classic, the other team gets an attempt with a new one-word clue. “Candlelight” contains the answer, and “Birthday cake” is two words, so neither fits these house rules.
What can I create for free?
The public sample and word picker need no account. Sign in to create and save a game. Free accounts can keep three drafts in the current browser and use up to two teams; live-room player limits depend on the play style.

Host setup
Plan 10 to 30 secret words, 30 to 60 seconds per turn, two or more teams, and a visible score. For classrooms, use vocabulary terms. For events, use themes and inside jokes.
How to run it well
Keep clues to one word, rotate clue-givers, avoid spelling or word parts, and mix easy, medium, and challenge words so the room gets momentum.
